I have to do things like this to remind myself that even when my arms hurt or I am grumpy at the gym, every single day makes me stronger. The daily changes aren’t that noticeable. I only stare at my ever-decreasing hair when I look in the mirror lately.
Then I look at this and I feel proud for a minute. I work hard and even if I don’t always see it or feel it, it’s there.
For others looking at this, they may just see I am a little less dumpy. I see my arms have curves in the right places and my belly button doesn’t look like it is frowning, and my thighs don’t touch. My face is more refined even. My shoulders look stronger. I am not sucking in my gut in an effort to find an ab muscle. When I took this today, it didn’t even occur to me to suck it in. I think that is the first time in 20 years. Even my forearm looks more toned!Pardon my vanity… I needed to feel good tonight :)
